JOKER, MR. FREEZE NAMED IN "GOTHAM" SEASON 2 SYNOPSIS

Since the series was first announced, speculation has run high about which members of Batman's rogues gallery would make a pre-Dark Knight appearance on"Gotham." And as the show continued to surprise viewers with versions of several classic villains throughout its freshman season-- along with some major teasing of the Joker -- fans continue to wonder when this villain or that bad guy might make their debut on the show.

‘Boruto: Naruto the Movie’ Unleashes Full-Length Trailer

The first full-length trailer has arrived for “Boruto: Naruto the Movie,” which introduces the next generation of ninjas in Masashi Kishimoto’s epic adventure.

As the title suggests, the film centers on Naruto Uzumaki’s son Boruto, introduced last fall in the final chapter of the manga and in “The Last: Naruto the Movie,” who decides he wants to surpass his father’s accomplishments.

Opening Aug. 7 in Japan, the film boasts a script and character design by Kishimoto, who served as chief production supervisor. Junko Takeuchi and Noriaki Sugiyama reprise their voice roles as Naruto and Sasuke.

KUBERT JOINS WAID, ASRAR ON MARVEL'S "ALL-NEW, ALL-DIFFERENT AVENGERS"

Solidifying Marvel's plans for "All-New, All-Different Avengers," The Wall Street Journal reports this morning that artist Adam Kubert will join writer Mark Waid and artist Mahmud Asrar, the creative team behind the Free Comic Book Day introduction to the new line-up, on the series, which will ship more than 12 issues a year.

LATOUR, RODRIGUEZ TO STICK WITH "SPIDER-GWEN" FOLLOWING "SECRET WARS"

Thanks to that old Stacy luck, writer Jason Latour, artist Robbi Rodriguez and colorist Rico Renzi will continue to hang with Gwen in Marvel's post-"Secret Wars" universe. Announced on IGN, Latour, Rodriguez and Renzi will continue to chart the course for the runaway hit character with the release of "Spider-Gwen" #1 this fall, which takes place after the universe-altering "Secret Wars" event.

TOM HOLLAND LANDS "SPIDER-MAN" LEAD ROLE

Tom Holland has landed the titular role in"Spider-Man," making him the latest actor to pick up the web shooters and the first to do so within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Relativenewcomer Jon Watts ("Cop Car") has also been announced to direct the 2017 "Spider-Man" film.
